Is a TI better than a super?

The debate of whether a Ti or SUPER variant of a GPU tier is better has been going on for some time.

While it is true that the SUPER variant is often cheaper than the Ti variant, the Ti variant usually offers superior performance.

For example, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti is the top of the line in the RTX 2080 series, offering 11GB of VRAM and higher clock speeds than the RTX 2080 SUPER. This allows the 2080 Ti to provide higher performance than the 2080 SUPER, despite the latter having 8GB of VRAM.

The same is true for the RTX 2070 series. The RTX 2070 Ti is the top of the line in the series, offering higher clock speeds and 8GB of VRAM compared to the RTX 2070 SUPER’s 6GB of VRAM. This allows the 2070 Ti to provide higher performance than the 2070 SUPER.

The same is true for the RTX 2060 series. The RTX 2060 Ti is the top of the line in the series, offering higher clock speeds and 6GB of VRAM compared to the RTX 2060 SUPER’s 5GB of VRAM. This allows the 2060 Ti to provide higher performance than the 2060 SUPER.

In conclusion, it is clear that the Ti variant of a GPU tier is superior to the SUPER variant – in performance. While the SUPER variant may be cheaper, it is often not as powerful as the Ti variant. Therefore, if you are looking for the best performance, the Ti variant is the way to go.
