Is RTX 4090 overpriced?

The RTX 4090 is the latest graphics card from NVIDIA, and it’s no surprise that it comes with a hefty price tag.

At a whopping $1,500, it’s one of the most expensive graphics cards on the market. But is it overpriced?

The short answer is yes, but not in a gouging way. It’s just the usual business-as-usual, taking-advantage-of-FOMO markup. It’s a premium product, and it’s priced accordingly.

That said, the RTX 4090 does offer some impressive performance. It’s powered by the latest Ampere architecture, which provides a significant boost in gaming performance over the previous generation. It also supports real-time ray tracing, which adds a whole new level of realism to games.

The RTX 4090 also has some other features that make it stand out from the competition. It has a whopping 24GB of GDDR6X memory, which is more than enough for even the most demanding games. It also supports NVIDIA’s DLSS technology, which can boost performance even further.

All of this makes the RTX 4090 a great choice for gamers who want the best performance possible. But it’s still expensive, and that’s something to consider before making a purchase.

That said, the RTX 4090 isn’t overpriced in a gouging way. It’s just priced at a premium due to its performance and features. If you’re looking for the best gaming experience possible, then the RTX 4090 is worth the price. But if you’re looking for something more affordable, then there are other options out there. (Big caveat: I haven’t tested the RTX 3090 Ti.)
